all i want for christmas is you   spent my christmas eve with cindy phua (and her boyfriend came later on). went to orchard, raffles, citylink mall, esplanade and suntec. had my long awaited banana split waffles at max brenner's, i only go there for that. i was searching high and low for a christmas log cake with the help of cindy and her bf. went to all kinds of bakeries, but log cakes were sold out, and i had to resort to crystal jade bakery. so ugly log cake, and it doesn't taste very good either. :(   my family's last minute christmas dinner was such a success! :) dinner was good- fruit salad, shark fin's soup, beef and one whole turkey (a gift from my dad's friend). mummy even made that christmas flower 'bouquet' to beautify our table!  christmas day was spent in the city with my family, come to think of it, it's my first time doing that in the past 18 years. according to my dad, there were 60,000 people in orchard road last night- it was so crowded. bought last minute christmas gifts, they are so cute! :) had dinner at crystal jade restaurant in takashimaya, it was SO GOOD. somehow, i feel that it's better than the one at paragon, prolly due to the chefs. anyways, it was the best roast duck i ever ate in my life. not kidding! thereafter, we went to lido to watch sherlock holmes. well, i thought that the movie was so-so, shall rate it 3 stars. yenlin said that it was shot on a budget! why? anyhow, robert downey jr. is such a good actor! passed my BTE, can't wait for BTT, and driving! :) sat the taxi three times in the past 2 days. every single uncle in the taxi asked me if i went or if i'm going to go clubbing. i said no, will be having dinner at home. they either didn't believe, or kept asking me why. haha, do i have the party person look? blogged at 1:34 PM
