on saturday, the three of us went for some shopping in orchard before meeting up with cheryl. have been going there everyday. i need some help man, i need to travel! singapore is so boring, and it's so crowded- EVERYWHERE! we all bought matching headbands from fourskin, nice and cheap! :)

had pontian wanton noodles for dinner, as requested by xiaohan. listened to xiaohan as it was suppose to be her advanced birthday celebration. she knew nothing until the surprise came later...

time was passing, and we needed to find an opportunity to give her the surprise. so cixian asked her along to the toliet, and she went- easily. me and cheryl started taking out the pressies and the cake from our bags. when i was about to open the box and light the candle, i realised that the cake was squashed! me and cheryl panicked. didn't know what to do. wanted to go buy another cake to replace it, but there was no cake shop around. so we decided to make do with it, despite it looking so ugly. hid the cake in the box as we didn't dare to show it to anyone. i bet people must be thinking, why are we ill-treating our friend. we were so disappointed, sad and SIAN!



despite the cake, and the 3 sad people, xiaohan was still smiling happily! :) i guess, it's really the thought that counts. thank god that we had fantastic gifts for her (to make up for the cake). got her $60 MAC vouchers, anna sui lip gloss and 2 tickets to the korean actor's concert!

please ignore the cake. it looks horrible! sigh. according to cheryl, the cake was so cute and pretty- it was heart-shaped and had flowers and leaves on top of it. the staff at bakerzin even said that she'll tape the bottom of the cake to the box, but she didn't! :( cheryl said she wants to complain. haha.

a wonderful day out with my girlfriends. i love them so much always. they never fail to bring a smile on my face. love this picture to bits, i think photos of the 4 of us are always so pretty! :)

met up with the chews in the afternoon yesterday to get cindy's birthday pressie. thereafter, we walked over to rachel's house and got a ride from her mum to cindy's house. we were the first to reach. :) they played with her 2 big dogs, while i hid in cindy's room.

more guests came around 7. buffet dinner started too. food was so good, almost everything was chilli! :) mee goreng, chicken wings, mushrooms, etc. must get the caterer's contact details! had chocolate fondue, nice, but would have preferred it with milk instead of dark.
